If you have enabled private folders visible, you can also manually find the Outlook Temp folder on Mac with this path: Library > Caches > Temporary Items > Outlook Temp directory. I have looked over various articles, a lot of them are older, I have message traced emails. Click on Go button to find the Outlook Temp Folder Here in the folder you can find all the Outlook items like email attachments, html signatures, calendars etc. Even tho Outlooks spam filtering is garbo (trash), I also don't want to go around 300 different users and white list all there clients, you also cant white filter future clients.Īnyone have any solutions, not looking for a quick fix either.
When I close out of Outlook the deleted mail goes away, but I have manually empty the junk mail folder.
I have some emails that automatically go to my junk mail and others (on a daily basis it seems) that I mark as junk mail. I have read numerous threads posted on Spiceworks with users experiencing the same issue, some of the suggestions are rather rash. I have always been able to get rid of my deleted emails as soon as I exit my outlook program. All the sudden they are in the Junk Folder. By on-going I mean emails that are from outside users that were going into Inbox with replies and such. Users are complaining that they are having important or emails that have been on going appear in the Junk folder all the sudden. This has been on-going for a few weeks now, probably relevant to the security patches pushed out by Microsoft to O365.
